A very easy way to make chicken. I especially like it as I can make it at lunch and it fills the house with the smell of cooking chicken, garlic and lemon for the whole afternoon.

This recipe quick as some others in but it is easy, and very tasty. If you suddenly discover you have extra people for dinner and need to pad this out a bit, it’s very tasty with some steamed Chinese dumplings alongside.
These pickles are unbelievably simple to make. They take a little while to mature, but when you can make them in 5 minutes, stick a date on them and whack them in the fridge, who really minds? They're also delicious, and much healthier than the artificially coloured and flavoured Japanese pickles you'll usually find in shops.
This is easy. Very, very easy. It’s also one of those recipes that gets passed around – it came to me courtesy of Xole. She got it from a workmate, who has been making it for years herself. The workmate is Scandinavian, but this recipe is Italian. It’s especially good if you have your own sage bush in your garden, but you can buy it just as easily.
